that will be that! New Zealand win by 32 runs and seal the series! Length outside off. Siddique walks across his stumps. channels his inner Steve Smith and tries to whip it away. Gets nowhere close to the ball and that sort of sums up tonight's game - a lot of strokes by the UAE batters but not many runs to show for it!

9:47pm The New Zealand players pose with a rather shiny-looking trophy and they are all smiles. That also brings to an end our coverage for this series, which ebbed and flowed before the Kiwis flexed their muscles and closed out the contest. Plenty to take for UAE, too, and it will be interesting to see how they use the learnings from these three games. Hope you enjoyed watching along with us, and until next time, this is me (Shashwat) saying goodbye on behalf of Venkat Raghav and everyone else at ESPNcricinfo. Take care!
Tim Southee, New Zealand captain: (On the performance today) It was by far our best performance of the series. Good way to finish the series. (On the debutants) They have been great domestic performers. Good opportunity for them and a great start for their careers. (Most challenging aspect) Think the heat has been a big factor. The guys adjusted pretty well. When you travel, you have to adapt to different conditions quickly.
Mark Chapman, Player of the Series: It was nice for the boys to rebound today and put in a complete performance. Very happy to win the series. (On his innings) Today, the way Will played, he put the pressure back on the bowling, made our jobs easier. (How difficult it is for an Associate nation to play against a side like NZ) Games against Test-playing nations come infrequently. Looks like UAE are going from strength to strength and I wish them the very best.
Will Young, Player of the Match: (On what he was doing while sitting out) It was interesting sitting out. Got a bit of a sighter on what UAE do. It looked a similar wicket to the first game. Little two-paced early and then eased out in the middle (overs).
Muhammad Waseem, UAE captain: (What went wrong) We wanted a good start (in the run-chase) but we did not get that unfortunately. We struggled after that in the middle overs. (On the score) Wicket was very good. 160 (166) was chaseable on this pitch. (On his performance) I was going on the attack. I am looking to get 50-55 runs in the powerplay. Today, unfortunately, I made a wrong decision. (On the support UAE have received this series) We are thankful to our supporters. Thankful to our management and everyone. Very pleased with my team.
9:25pm A comfortable victory for New Zealand in the end. The win was set up inside the powerplay, with Lister accounting for Waseem early. Jamieson then sent Aravind packing and once that happened, the hosts were always playing catch-up. A good debut for Ashok too, who bowled with good control and picked up the wicket of Asif. Almost all of the Kiwi bowlers executed their plans, and did not repeat the mistakes that plagued them yesterday.
UAE, meanwhile, could not cope with the plans that the Black Caps had for them. They tried to manufacture strokes but with the Kiwis bowling tight to the stumps, did not have much luck. From a series perspective, UAE will have taken a lot of positives but tonight, they just did not do enough to compete with the visitors.
